Bono stopped posting last Christmas because of the constant berating he received on the board. Due to poor class performance, he is currently attending a community college in Las Vegas.

Ya. I have it on authority from a friend of his (they went to high school together, and the friend is still here) that he was trying to get into one of the numerous universities in Las Vegas (where they both live), but was too late on the application, so it sending the semester in a community college.

Sczroer, would you tell that person I have his DVD's from Bono.

In anycase, that piece of information detracts from my story and I demand it be removed from your post at once! (just kidding)

I was hoping to have some fun with the peoples... perhaps claim that I had a sex change or something equally inane. Curses.
Anyway, I pretty much stopped going on Seek when everything I said got me into an argument. Now I of course like arguing, but this message board was taking up more than an hour a day, which really cut into my Minesweeper/Spider Solitaire time.
Back about February I decided that I didn't want to be an engineer anymore, which is probably a good thing, since my parents couldn't keep up with the cost of out-of-state tuition, despite any scholarships I was recieving. So, this summer I had a choice: go back to Rolla, or go somewhere else. Since I was being so slow with the decision, there weren't any Universities that would accept an application so late, so I'm at my local community college for the semester. (Which at least has the benefit that I can for once in my life learn Japanese.)

So that's pretty much it. If anyone asks about where I went off to, now you know. You can always point them in my direction if you want to. There are actually a few people I've meant to talk to and tell them personally, but just never got around to it.
Oh, and I have a girlfriend now, of all improbabilities. Apparently there are places in the world where the women are as desparate as Rolla men.

Lol, Bono, always good for a laugh. But ya, I remmeber your wanting to leave during our CS53 final. I am sorta in the same boat as you. Am currently an english major (don't ask) but am planning to try to transfer to a different college. Only thing is, Rolla ia actually cheaper than like SMS, which is annoying. Might try to transfer to someplace down in Houston, because I'd have free room and board, and all.
