I would like to remind/inform all the current/future physics 23 and 24 students about the Physics Learning Center (PLC) and tutoring session. The PLC is a group structured working environment, though a student is not required to work in a group, where any student in physics 23 or 24 can receive assistance with physics (homework, test prep, etc.). It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that students participate in these sessions. The physics 23 sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:30 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. The physics 24 sessions are on Mondays and Wednesdays during the same time periods. They are located in Physics 129 and 130. Tutoring is in 204 Norwood Monday through Thursday 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.. More informationj is here
The PLC is part of a larger organization called LEAD, Learning Enhancement Across Disciplines. LEAD has many academic assistance programs across a broad spectrum of classes. More information is here
All types of students attend LEAD sessions, from those just wanting validation to those needing help with homework and/or concepts. Please review the list of offered courses. We can help you help yourself.
