i cant get any folders to open up via this method, i tried browseing and got nowehre there as well, i also ried to type in the \\foldernames in the address toolbar still to no avail... i dunno what to try next...

nortan firewall but diabled
windows firewall but says its configured for shareing
far as last part dunno, ran network setup wizard...

well did u move your program files folder or the iexplorer folder, doing so can mess up alot

No, he's talking about your hardware, you'd better clean your case out and put everything back in. Wait, that may not work entirely either, just throw it all out and start over.

disable windows firewall

go to "my network places", view all network computers, and see if you can browse them that way

anyone with a pretty prancing unicorn as their picture should know this

actually, its called a Firesteed, and its a Daemon classed animal, no resembolance (yeah.. that) to a unicorn, which looks like this:

anyway, i reinstalled windows already and that fixed whatever was wrong
