btw, i'm off campus, but i was having problems with email when i checked at an on-campus computer in ME earlier today.

Or the system was down for some reason or another... It happens on occasion. Usually they send you some kind of notice, so if your a normal person and check your e-mail 7+ times a day you should have gotten some kind of notice before it went down.
