Hey Guys,
Setup now consists of what's listed below, and the watercooling system is kicking azz on both video and cpu.
Time to overclock this sucker. Video will be an issue addressed soon enough, it's CPU time!
I read a few tutorials on unlocking the barton, but I am not confident to perform these operations. I'd appreciate some help from someone who's done it before (successfully).
Any help appreciated, please let me know. I'd rather not fry this chip, as it's brand new and expensive, but I would like to see its potential.

I'll see what I can get out of this card, then maybe upgrade.
Converging on the performance specs of a 5700 or something, but I need to get my RAMDACs some heatspreaders, as they are unstable with anything over 400 mhz bus. Incrementing the core is going well, have tested and verified 315mhz core, movin' on up....

OK, since I don't want to destroy this chip and I bought it to overclock, anyone willing to work out a trade? It'd be the perfect upgrade for someone, I'd be open to offers as long as someone's got an unlocked from the factory chip (ie made before week 37 or so 2003). I'd prefer something with 512mb cache.

Let me know what you've got. -jkpq45
Tisk tisk, should've done your research before you bought that chip.

Actually thought this chip would have the highest potential, since it is the max my board will take. Since I'm watercooling, temperature wouldn't be a problem, so I went with the best.

Oh well. -jkpq45
Actually it has the lowest potential, since it is the max your board can take.
