Really UMR isn't that bad. You get a good education for a bargain if you are in state. Rolla the town isn't that bad either, especially if you come from a town 1/8 the size of Rolla like i do. My only real complaints are Chartwells and the lack of females, the others are just things that bug me.

I'd be willing to bet that most of the people who bitch about the lack of women wouldn't do a damn thing around them if the ratio was reversed.

Maybe so...but it would be considerably easier if the ratio was reversed.

The good:
I'm probably one of the few people who likes that it's a small campus and that you know your profs and the students. There's sort of a lack of bureaucracy compared to bigger universities.

The bad:
1. I have to return styrofoam cups in chemistry, but there's enough money for giant kidney-shaped dirtpiles blocking the library.
2. Teachers who don't speak English that well and don't understand your questions.
3. No really good stores or restaurants.
4. Students hate Rolla and Rolla hates the students.

The ugly:
Well, maybe it's just because I'm a girl, but it seems that every other post on Seek bitches about how awful the girls are here.
