You know I'll be there! Unfortunately, my allowable cash will be low for it since I am buying a shotgun this weekend. The only way I'll be buying anything is if I can find X39 for $70 or so a case, X54R for 8 cents a round or less, new AR mags for $12 or less, an sks for $90 or less or mosins for less than $40. Really the only thing I have a chance on is X39 ammo.

If you find cheap NIW AR magazines, let me know. I need some of those too. I've only got 25 or so. There's a place in OKC I can get used, but almost brand new with the green follower, for $13 or so. Probably could get a better deal if I bought in bulk.

CMMG (who hosts the shoots) has brand new LEO marked mags with teflon finish for $16. NICE looking mags!
Luke reminded me I'm looking for 10/22 hi-caps too. Darn you luke A cheap sks would be nice, less than $100 or so. Won't happen around here. I just need to find a dealer that'll transfer real cheap then I can get an sks for $100 no problem.

Easy, get a shooter's special from AIM or a u-fix-em from century. Not sure what the u-fix-ems are going for now, but the shooters grade from aim is $90. Shooters grade=beat up, missing some bluing, maybe a bit of spot rust, dented stock, etc. U-fix-em means missing parts, but thats ok. Today I got basically ALL the internals for an sks for $25. Magazine (10rd fixed), receiver cover, recoil spring/guide rod, bolt assembly, carrier, gas piston, piston extender thing and spring, and trigger group. So, basically all I need is a barreled reciever and stock, and a couple pins.

Shooters grade sks for $90, plus shipping. If aim has that for $90, surely century will have a u-fix-em for 50-75. Just need to find someone who'll do a $10 transfer or free transfer for me. Soon as I turn 21 though I'm getting a C&R.

Oh yeah, forgot about that option. Call Ralph at Smokey Acres Trading Company and ask him what he'd do. He's open Wed-Fri 3-8 and Saturday 9-3.
