Good. I hate Joe'SS anyway. Not really a huge reason why....it just annoys me.
I also see Cleveland State was complaining that they coudn't keep track of revenue. I know i had 2 bills from UMR this summer that were totally messed up. First they charged me $500 less for my room and board than i really owed. So i thought i had it all paid off until i got another huge bill in the mail. Then, they charged me a 1% finance charge on the money my student aid was supposed to cover. I called them up and got that straightened out, i think anyway. The people at the registar's office said they had been having lots of software problems.
The school did all kinds of stuff wrong with people soft here. The thing that I think every one that was at UMR when it happened would notice it that the spring aid came on December 23 really messing up everyone’s taxes.
JoeSS sucks for the most part. The last time I looked at the finicial aid and what I owed part I got confused but that was because they refunded me stuff they shouldn't have. Then I got a finiance charge. That was the beginning of last spring. Doesn't seem like they have much fixed.

Yeah, mine was messed up last year. When it came time to pay my bill for the semister, they told me that I couldn't just make the payment, they told me that I had to pay my full bill for my (then) 3 years here.

I work in the Psychology office and I was asked to create a list of the e-mail addresses of all the active Psych Minors at UMR. I thought (being a former Comp Sci) that this would be no problem what so ever. One would think that you could have PeopleSoft generate a report for you with out too much trouble.
As a Quicken users I have become very accustom to generating strange reports, but no matter how strange they were I have all ways been able to get that $30 dollar piece of software to do what I want.
Now comes PeopleSoft which apparently cost the school up wards of millions of dollars does not have a built in mechanism to generate such a report. After calling around to about four people I found that some one is going to have to write a report script to generate the information we need.
How it that a $30 dollar piece of software can out do PeopleSoft?
