Perl Harbor = kick ass dormie party... the only one of the year worth any mention really. TJ4N puts it on (except last year they totally gayed it). My freshman year I went and it was loads and loads of getting fucked up... but, there is still tons of sausage so don't expect to get laid.

Fun shit though, fun shit. Oh, and they don't abide by the gay UMR-Fraternity you have to suck greek cock to get in...

Last year we had trouble finding a place that would allow us to use it. Hopefully we'll get a better place to have it this year.

this is the way i heard it, not sure if it's true or just rumor....

TJ 4N has just about always been a party floor. A long time ago, the guys up there had been partying all year and blowing off their studies, so when exams rolled around, they knew they were screwed. So instead of cramming for their tests, they got a whole load of party supplies, including a couple of kegs and lots of snacks (and presumably at least SOME women), then sealed the stairs, windows, and elevator--and when i say sealed, i mean i heard they did it with cement.
So they partied for days on end, and UMR couldn't figure out how to get them out. Even the police had trouble breaking in. Supposedly, it eventually got to the point where the national guard were called in to bust through and break up the party. It was this event that was called the original (for UMR) Pearl Harbor.

Of course, i find the part with the national guard a bit hard to believe, but then, I've also heard the story of Zeus around here.........

I think thats fairly close to what happened, They blocked the elevators with kegs, but as far as the cement thing, I don't know. The japanese battle flag was adopted as the floor flag because everyone got bombed, and it became a yearly party, except not in the dorms.

But as far as Pearl Harbor sucking last year, i would agree with Cuz and blame most of it on the fact that we didnt really have a place to party at, and held it in the library basement where there is not enough room for Pearl Harbor.
