Who is the best character from the super smash bros. series? I personally am all about kirby. That little tub can takes his beatings well.

Ganondorf, Peach, Fox, and Jigglypuff make up the highest tier of "best" characters in smash. I haven't played with all four enough to confirm a definite best but I have narrowed it down to those four.

jigglypuff? jiggles is good as a novelty character, but no way is he good as an all around guy. pikachu is pretty solid, but he's one of those characters that falls into a "bitch" character where everyone (who i play with) whines when you overuse the lightning bolt shit

definatly link. he's one of the bigger hitters but still quicker than the big fatties.

i'm surprised no one mentioned ness... at first he's hard to use, but if you get good at his up+B move you can usually keep yourself alive, as well as inflict some major damage. then theres the flames and green psychic shit, plus he carries his own bat

i guess i mainly like the characters to go to the fight armed.

oh, and luigi? hello? pink assasin? he's pretty quick, his aerial moves are the tops (but he falls slowly, making him an easy target) and his coin punch is killer. plus whenever you do the sideways rocket flying thing there is a 12.5% chance you will do the flaming super shot. he also has the best hold/throwing moves.

Jiggly is more than a novelty character, if you get good at his down B attack you can take people off the screen with little or no damage.

Jigglypuff. But you have to be willing to risk falling off the edge from rolling around.

Luigi is definitely my pick. I actually used to play Ness alot, he's got a good back smash in air for distance, and his forward smash in air does pretty good damage, plus the bat is pretty ace.
