 Post subject: Freaker's Ball - This Wednesday!

KMNR is hosting its annual Freaker's Ball at All Star’s Sports Bar and Grill.

We will have three bands this year:
Missile Silo Suite
Lojic and
Fragile Porcelain Mice.

There will be a costume contest and we're giving out $300 in prizes! You are invited to come out and enjoy yourself for a night filled with music and costume madness on October 27. Doors open at 8 PM, concert begins at 9 PM. It is FREE for all students with a valid UMR ID!

It'll last til 1 am I'd guess, based on past experience, and the costume contest will be between the second and third band. Show up early to get picked. The judges will be observing the crowd and slap a sticker on you if your costume is good and then they'll bring all the contestants on stage between FPM and Lojic. Prizes will be decided by the crowd, I think. Things that have been done to death (although several will probably show up anyway): Pimps/hos, naughty schoolgirls, and multiple sorority girls in the same costume (six pack, crayons, whatever).

Doors at 8, music at 9, and it's free, so you might as well show up. The Cards game will be done before the good part starts, too. It's not like you had anything to do on Thursday anyway.

Due to a death in the family, Missile Silo Suite will be unable to perform.

We will instead be having Dionysia as the opening act. They fucking rock, so come see them as well as Lojic and Fragile Porcelain Mice.
