Is there a site or anything that lists these? I'm not talking about the main one that lists almost every class offered each semester. Like last year, I found out about GE101 from a flyer posted in the dorms, other than that I wouldn't have known about it. Does the registrar have a pdf or anything like that online for people to look at and find these kinds of classes

You pretty much have to be in the right place at the right time to find out.
There are 2 history classes that are being offered that are not on the list (history of transportation in america and US diplomatic history since WW2) and I believe that there is also a journalism class.

There are a lot of news and experimental classes that are left of the regestrar's list though.

They should be updated in Joe's as they are added.

Ding ding, we have a winner. THere are some classes in Joe'SS that are not present in the link above. Go to self service/learner services/catalog/view course catalog and from there, type infor instance, ROLLA and GEO ENG and it will give you a list of all of the geological engineering classes offered.

Certain of the Distance and Continuing Education classes will not be added to Joe'SS until late.

Are all the classes Joe SS lists actually available to take? It seems like most are not on the Spring 05 Campus Class Offerings pdf. Also, is there a way to get course numbers and teachers from Joe SS for the classes listed in the catalog?

I think that all of the classes on Joe'SS are good to go. I am not sure, but I think that the prof listing depends on department, I know that none of my math classes have ever had the prof listed. The class that Music Phreak was talking about isn't on the pdf, but is on Joe'SS.

How do you get the actual course numbers so you can sign up for the classes?

Do you already have your advisor block lifted? If so, go to 'enroll in a class', and from there you follow directions on searching for classes.

I found out my problem. I was in the wrong part of Joe SS. You have to go to Learner Serv->Catelog->View Schedule of Classes

Stuco has been working on increasing the number of instructors listed on Joe's. Yesterday several Math in instructors were added.

All distance classes on in Joe's. They can also be found on the DCE website @ http://campus.umr.edu/dce

Before this was done to keep the kids in the dark about which professor was teaching when, because, let's face it, there's some that rock and some that suck. If they posted the instructor, they knew that they would have certain sections where there would be few if any in them.
