I found a High School Class ring in the mens bathroom in Shrenk, although it is a women's ring. If you think it is yours send me info about it and I can get it to you. It's a 2004 Grad, and has a full name engraven.

Why don't you send out an e-mail to the person whose name it is?
They might not be in the directory or there is several people with the same name. Either way, this is the correct thing to do, asking for information to confirm the owner.

Word of mouth, I guess. Also, might see if you can get the secretary to send out a mass email to the freshman saying that a ring was found. Easiest way to get ahold of most of the little buggers all at once

No guaranteeing that the original owner of the ring is even a student here, actually. You said it was a girl's ring found in the men's room? When I gave my gf her promised ring, she gave me her old high school ring, and I wear it on a necklace sometimes (I still have it, I know it's not my ring you found). The person who dropped the ring might have gotten it from their gf, who may not attend UMR.

Or they could have ordered a girl's class ring to make it SEEM like they have a girfriend back home. Then left it in a prominent place for someone to find so they could say "Oh, you found my girlfriend's ring. She'll be SOOO happy to hear it."
Wow. I really distrust the probable behaviors of the lonely, lonely men in Rolla.

Wow, if someone went to all that trouble to make one person believe they have a girlfriend, then they need serious help. They also need to get out of Rolla, fast.
