I hear people discussing those who post too much, and I agree with them. Why not set some sort of limit on how many posts per day any certain user is allowed. Having a limited number of posts to get their point across, people would be more likely to use some thought when putting together a response. Also, it would eliminate those crazy people who post just to get their overall count higher and who have nothing of substance to say.

while in an ideal world that might work, but then again in an ideal world the problem wouldn't exist. whats to stop people from posting as an ac?

First everyone complains about AC's, then when that is taken care of (to an extent), you find something else to bitch about. Just shut up, sit back, and know that if the same name appears in your thread that has been making annoying posts EVERYWHERE else, to just ignore them.

why do you care if people post a lot? i dont see why its a problem. if you dont like what a certain person has to say, stop reading their posts. it has nothing to do with number of posts in a day.

Actually, I do like it when people post a lot. But not when it's a bunch of ridiuculous dribble. In limiting the number of posts, I would hope that people would say things I'd like to read. And I agree that I could ignore them. But it takes time to sift through different threads that MAY have had something interesting said in them. MAYBE not though.

Here's to that! I dont post much, and i really dont care how much people post. If we were to set a limit on posts 1. there would be a helluva lot more AC's. 2. Why not set a limit on speech too (would solve some problems, but would be hard to implement) and 3. Quit your bitching, and let the real pros like goat and Llama do their job properly!

If you ask me, all of the "too much posting" threads are ridiculous dribble. but then again, here i am contributing to it all the same...
And if you're looking for something interesting to read, may I suggest reading a good novel. Cause you're not gonna find too many nuggets of wisdom on an online forum.

Post counts don't mean squat...
