Yeah, it's over. 125,000 votes is insurmountable with provisional ballots that'll reflect the rest of Ohio votes for the election. Kerry would have to win somewhere around 90% of these provisional ballots. Anyone who wants to bet on this happening needs to call me, and give me their money.
Popular Vote: Check
Electoral Vote: Check
Four more years, biatches.
Edit: Make that 145,000 votes that Kerry would have to make up.

While it's looking like Bush obviously won the popular vote, and may win the electoral vote, I want to ask you all, in all seriousness, as an American servicemember, to please try to get over the hatred an enmity that has driven a wedge between the two diverging groups in our nation. We're in a war that is winnable, but will take decades to win. Without the unity that defined us from September '01 until about October '02, we will not prevail. If Bush wins, Democrats and the like, please accept this and move on. If Kerry pulls a rabbit out of his hat, Republicans and friends, rally behind the new chief. But for the love of God, people, quit being petty. We simply can't afford it.

I think they're right that Bush has pretty much won. It's funny to me that the news agencies that have called Ohio refuse to call any of the other states and put Bush over 270, while the agencies that haven't called Ohio refuse to call Ohio because it would put Bush over 270 as well.. but I've just noticed that the close states where Kerry is ahead are being called. I think at this point the news agencies are just playing it safe to keep from calling the election the wrong way even though it appears to be statistically evident that Bush has won.. or they're just trying to keep people watching the TV .
Actually, even if kerry doesn't win ohio, he could still win if colorado's new law passes to split their votes by popular count.
Oh... wait... I take that back, Bush would lose 4 votes, putting him at an even 270

Bush will get at least two of the three states of NV, NM, and IA, and probably all 3. Should make the Ohio 'issue' moot. MI is just as close as the first three I mentioned and they are already calling it for Kerry. The media seems reluctant to make such a projection in Bush's favor..............................
Imagine that.
I also noticed that all the effort to straighten out the Florida voting problems has been successful.......kinda supports the determination that Bush won that state in the last election too, huh.

Check your math, chief. Unless you're looking at some news agency that I haven't seen, that still won't add to >=270

Not necessarily. Populations shift, especially in states where you have a huge old-folk and young-folk population. Not totally sure about the numbers, but it seems to be a retirement home for displaced yankees. Anyways, We'll never know for sure. And even if the populations and their views remained the same, turnout on any given day will vary due to weather, work schedules, PMS, etc., etc.,

I'm sorry but I refuse to support someone who I haven't supported since day one of the Iraqi war. Do I support our troops, yes, Mr. GW, no, and I will continue to not support him.
