I had Alexei Kytmanov for DiffEq WS04, and he wasn't bad. Once you got past his accent he's a pretty good teacher. If you can though, get Akers. He taught it that semester, but I don't know if he's still teaching it or not.
For CS 228, get Wilkerson. The class is at 8:00am usually, but it's worth it. He's by far one of the best professors I've ever had at this school (Dr. Mueller in the NE department being close behind), and the class is complete cake.
For BE 110, try to get Jeff Thomas if he's teaching it next semester, from what I've heard, he's the best teacher in the department for the class. I'd stay away from Raney, as I have him this semester for BE 110, and it sucks. Carroll is also a really good professor for MechEMat.
Dunno about Psych 50 since I haven't taken it, and don't plan to.

You don't want Thomas for Diff Eq. I had problems with his teaching style as did many people I know.

dif eq-i had rueck. easiest math class ever
be110 i have raney now...stay away if possible. tests aren't too bad, but he basically wastes 30 minutes of your day trying to teach whatever he's supposed to for the day. never collects homework though.
I don't know if your major requires Linear Algebra, too, but if so, and if it's an option, try to take it the same semester you take DiffEq. They're extremely similar, so much so that for most of the semester I took them, what I was being taught in one class at any given week is what I was taught the previous week in the other class. Take'em together and it'll reinforce everything.

It's been awhile since I had those so I don't know if the profs are still the same but I learned quite a bit from Dr. Carroll in BE110.
I had Michael Thomas for DifEq and he made it easy to understand.
I know Dr. Hall doesn't tech Pysch 50 anymore, which is a shame 'cause that was a great class. All the tests consisted of: What is "some technical term"? A. Right answer B. Monkeys C. Knives D. Monkeys with knives. Even easier than the art classes.

Dr. Carrol is the man for BE110. He spends like 5 minutes on theory, and the rest of the class on working examples almost exactly like the homework. His tests are pretty easy, too.
