I had Micro with Bryant and it was very easy. He gives all kinds of extra credit, lets you use notecards on the test, and he even gave on of the tests as a take home test! I had him FS 03.

yeah i agree, if you take bryant for micro it will be a breeze. I had him Spring 04'. With all the bonus, going into the final i only needed a 34% to get an A in the class. I didnt study a bit for the final. I ended up getting a 100% on the final because he curves all his tests a lot.

It's been said before on other threads, but I'll say it again. E.S. Park is perhaps the easiest teacher for econ.

10x - x = 9.99999... - x
x(10-1) = 9.9999... - x
9x = 9.9999... -x
9x = 9 (since x = 0.999...)
x = 1 = 0.99999

I took Macro in High School, and Im in Micro now.

Micro is more math and formulas and analysis.
Macro is more about foreign and fiscal policy, but has some formulas as well. mostly memorizing.

i think micros easier, personally.

If a teacher named Bates is offered for Micro. Take it immediately. He tells you whats on the test. Curves. Gives attendance quizes for up to 70pts worth of bonus throughout the semester(on a 300 pt scale!). By far the easiest A I have ever gotten and he didnt like the book so he just taught like he wanted and brought in some other stuff to read and discuss too.

Don't take Davis for macro. Goes straight from the book and is just an overall shitty teacher.

Micro is both easier and more useful to you in the long run. Honestly, what engineer needs to know macro?
