Saying that Java is nice because it works on all OS's is like saying that anal sex is nice because it works on all genders

A.C.'s do suck balls... let the Anime people do their thing... I dont like anime either, but while they are in the lounge watching anime, they are NOT at a party annoying the hell out of you! Think about it. Anime keeps thier asses in their rooms, out of sight; therefore, I say hooray for anime. It keeps dorks away from me!
You know, I don't understand what the problem is. We're not forcing it down your throats, nor do we take up the lounge that often, so what's the problem? Isn't everyone supposed to be able to use the lounge?

Guess what everybody, welcome to Rolla: a school populated by engineers who happen to like anime. You can either tolerate it or vote with your feet, find a different school, since you can bitch and whine all you want without changing anything. We are certainly willing to tolerate your ethanol-induced stupidity, so I don't see why we are not entitled to the same.

I'm sorry if I sounded close-minded earlier. You have an opinion which happenes to be the direct opposite of mine. I respect that. What I don't respect is people who yell at us for using the lounge for the same thing they use it for: entertainment.

I think the main problem is that anime is some crap made for kids and anyone above the age of 10 who watches it needs to be hung by their nutsack

Actually, there's anime for pretty much any demographic. Young children, teenagers, and adults. Some of them are actually pretty deep, and some are really twisted. Saikano, the show we watched last night, would probably qualify as a good mind scrambler.

The whole time you would be thinking, "Why the heck am I watching this junk?" or "How the hell do the Japanese make money off of this crap.?"
