Our forces have recently started an all-out attack on the insurgent-controlled Iraqi city Fallujha. They are working in conjunction with Iraqi troops. This promises to be a deadly battle, as it will be the first test of our urban tactics on a grand scale. Hopefully, this will be the successful turning point in our modern-day Guadalcanal, and allow us to pacify the nation shortly thereafter. My prayer is that all combatants will experience the Grace of God, even during the most trying of times during this conflict. I ask all who read this that you join me in this prayer.
You don't have to, but if you're open to it, . . .

You do know that not a single person was killed by an Iraqi citizen before we went in there, right?
We threw a rock at a hornets nest and then wondered why the fuck that they started swarming...

Whether or not you think we SHOULD be there, those troops are still over there fighting and they still need our prayers from back here. So stop being pissed off that we are there, and start thinking about the troops that are doing the fighting.

I'm sure he "supports the troops". Whatever that means.

You're right. Iraqi citizens didn't kill people. But officials of the "gracious" government of Saddam Hussein ran "disloyal" citizens through meat grinders, stormed houses and kidnapped people who refused to vote for him in those oh-so democratic elections with one candidate on the ballot, and parents discouraged their children from showing any sort of athletic talent so that they couldn't be subjected to any harm for shortcomings in international competitions. But you're right, no Iraqi citizens ever killed any people in Iraq before March of last year, thank you for setting the record straight. I am so happy to have your wealth of knowledge with us this evening. Now, do you have anything intelligent to contribute?

This is the exact same kind of unfounded overt hatred that the country doesn't need. Say something constructive, or ::shrek voice:: Shut it, Donkey.
