Just did it with a guy in my house. Very, Very disappointing...


No new cut-scenes, nothing added, everythings the same. The only thing I got was a new level called Foundation (which I hear you get from beating the game in any setting)

On top of that it doesn't even put anything on my character saying that I beat it on Legendary. Not even on the level select menu.


What people are thinking is that everytime you beat the game on a setting (normal, Heroic, Legendary) you get another Multi-Player level. So I guess I'll have to beat the end again and see if I get another level.

They should let you unlock Hang 'em High.

Yeah, I'd say it'll be a killer slayer map and a extremely small/cool CTF map.


On a Side note I've started finding the hidden easter eggs in Halo2. THey're Skulls... each one gives the game a special attribute that makes the game a lot harder.

I'll show all tomorrow at G3 Shrek... I'll bring my box or a memory card with my saves on it.

im guessing you might have beat the last level, but not every level on legendary?

me and my buddy beat it on legendary, the entire game, and the map was not unlocked. i looked on the net and they're saying bungie is going to release how to unlock it. but we changed the map name of foundation to beaver creek and played it generically on my modded box. It's kinda small but would be a cool, extreme craziness map.

perhaps you need to beat the game as an individual rather than only co-op? It's definately one of the best maps in the game...actually Halo-esque.

i wasnt able to make it to that showing cause i was out of town, but you you describe some of the effects they give off?

One's No HUD Display (No weapons info, grenades, health, radar) Your Blind that's why it says "Blind" when you pick up the skull

Another makes all enemies invisable.

not true. as I stated in another thread, the key is doing something that they teach in a tutorial before you complete the tutorial.

Basically when you beat the entire game on Legendary it says "Coming Feb 9th" in the credits. I didn't see it when I beat the last level, but I did skip half of them too.

So maybe Halo3 or You can download the last level (After the 2 month free suscription is over on Xbox Live)

Either way, more money for them.

Except February 9th is 3 months away...so that doesn't make sense I don't think. A lot of people speculate that it's the first release of downloadable content.

If they delayed Halo 2 for so long, only so that they could release Halo 3 in February, I'm not sure whether I'd be pissed or happy. I beat Halo 2 in like 8 hours, so I was pretty upset that it ended so damn quickly. Plus, I'm not to psyched about spending another 60 bucks on an xbox game. Does anyone play live? And what's your gamertags so I'll know when I kick your or you beat my ass.

I don't know what to think about it, I'm definitely not going to spend another $50 for another Halo Single Player with the exact same Multiplayer.

So my guess is that it's either Downloadable Content or The news that Halo 3 is coming out for the Xbox2.
