its 2:17 and I am loading hl2 for the first time, lets see how it is, what other people think who have played it tonight so very late at night.

I just stopped playing after I heard my alarm go off. This game is so amazing, I just now got ahold of the gravity gun, and shit hit the fan, all I can say is wow, this game owns the shit out of doom3

Pretty damn sweet. I'm hoping someone will make a physics map to play around with.. I played around on that first playground near the beginning of the game before you have a weapon for like 10 minutes. Cool stuff.. the physics are so much fun to play around with.. I think I'll be throwing things at the characters during the scripted sequences throughout the whole game..

Yes, this game is amazing. I've only spent about an hour and a half in the game, but this is easily one of the best games I've ever played.

I had lots of fun puting the baby doll found in the playground on the teeter totter and then throwing a cement brick on the other end. Sky high doll I call it. Glad I got a radeon 9800 pro this game pushes my system but runs stable enough. I plan on playing the game to the end as soon as possible, all of these college classes, homework and tests are getting in the way. For thanksgiving I will be thankfull for hl2. Yep I am that sappy.

I wonder how well this will run on my laptop

Mainly i'm worried about the graphics card. Any idea how well this will run?

what radeon 9800 do you have? 128 or 256? im curious cause ive got a 128 and wanted to know how the card would handle the game.

I must say, the storyline was better in hl2 than hl, but the hl ending is alot better than the hl2 ending. =\

Funny, a lot of places say the exact opposite. Gamespy says teh over all story was dissipointing, but the ending was awesome.
