Whether you play console, PC, or even table top, come to WANG, as we hijack the second floor of the CS building. Starting (hopefully) at 7pm on friday (we may not have every room prepared do to evening classes, but we'll find some place for you to set up) and will last until Sunday afternoon.
The following games have tournaments planned:

~If you want a tourny for a game not on the list just let us know and we'll bend over backwards to accomodate.
~Tournament rules will be agreed upon by the contestants in said tournament.
~There is a $5.00 entry fee that will entitle you to as much soda and sugar filled snacks you want.
~We are current mooching off of various big name companies for prizes for the winners and runner ups in the tournaments.

what are the prizes? are they any good? I remember I entered a Soul Calibur 2 tournement once, a five dollar entrance, and I won third place and got a Kilik action figure. crap. they got like 80 bucks in entries and gave out four action figures. (winner took Ivy, second took Taki, I chose Kilik over Maxi)
Does this go through the night? if it does, I recomend Bawls to all that attend. maybe you could give as a consolation prize

I would assume that if this is in the comp sci building it is so they can use the computers, but I might be wrong.

A few notes to those who don't know (since this was prompted by Phil the Tame Goat):
-No, the computers in the comp sci building can NOT be used. For PC games, you must bring your own computer like you were going to a standard LAN party. Included is the case, monitor, keyboard, mouse, power cables, power strip, ethernet cable, and *headphones*, no speakers.
-For the console games, bring the console if you have it and want to play, along with memory cards, controllers, and games. You may luck out and there may be consoles already there, but to be safe, bringing yours along would be a good idea. Usually, the computer projectors are used for the consoles, so you don't need to bring a TV (although that depends on how many consoles there are and how many projectors can be secured).
*NOTE* This is my experience from previous years, and I am not in ACM this year, so I can not 100% verify this is the exact same this year, but it should be fairly similar.

Quake 3 tourney would be good.. I think that had the best competition at the last wang.. and you could do that instead of Half-Life 2 since you can't have a HL2 tourney.
yeah q3 would be good, I had fun in the q3 tourney last time, definately some good competition, but i'm afraid i'm way out of practice, el pupitre would probably finish me off in no time.
