anyone else notice how EVERY screen form the commercial is either based on earth or portrays some instance of earth or urban combat, when less then 1/4 of the actual game has urban combat/earth areas?

Yeah it would be really cool if more of the game took place on Earth, but whatever, I like the game the way it is.

Plus they make it sound like the covenant are invading Earth on a full scale, that "Earth needs a savior not a hero" but in the storyline the covenant accidentally invade earth by mistake. The game really has nothing to do with Earth really. It's completely about the breakup of the covenant and the activation of the remaining Halo's. Very little happens on Earth, it's accidentally invaded by a small fleet who are looking for something. Then Master Chief follows them from Earth to another halo and then the story really begins.

If you look closely at the comercial it even uses clips from the E3 video that don't even happen or are used in the game. (i.e. the covenant with swords at the docks)

I imagine they just didn't want to give away too much of the acutal storyline of the game. They want people to find out what happens when they play it.

i imagine it's just marketing. defending earth is a much more entertaining storyline than the stupid "halo flood planets"
